President Trump's daily medications include Propecia, rosacea cream

Updated

White House physician Admiral Ronny Jackson addressed the White House press corps to discuss President Trump's annual health exam on Tuesday, and revealed a list of the commander in chief's daily medications.

“He has incredibly good genes and that’s just the way God made him," Jackson said of Trump's health after going over his vitals and general test results. While diet and exercise were highlighted as a specific area where the 45th president can improve on his health, Jackson appeared confident that the 71-year-old U.S. leader's physical yielded positive results.

Here is a full list of the medications Jackson revealed are included in President Trump's health regiment:

- CRESTOR, for the lowering of his cholesterol

- ASPIRIN, for cardiac health

- PROPECIA, for the prevention of male pattern hair loss

- Cream for the treatment of rosacea

- 1 multivitamin a day, for general health maintenance

Propecia was approved by the FDA for treatment of hair loss in 1997, and studies have shown potential side effects involving sexual dysfunction since its market release.

"The FDA-approved pill has been called into question, with emerging research and a slew of lawsuits suggesting that finasteride may be more dangerous than previously believed," the Men's Journal has previously reported. "Users report that its side effects — inability to orgasm, painful erections, chronic depression, insomnia, brain fog, and suicidal thoughts — can last long after patients stop taking the pill."
