Missing woman found dead in Georgia mall decomposing for two weeks

A missing woman was found dead in a Georgia mall where she had been decomposing for about two weeks, authorities said.

Silling Man — a 19-year-old Georgia State University student — was found in an empty Subway restaurant at Gwinnett Place Mall Duluth on Dec. 21, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported Wednesday.

The cause of her death wasn’t released, but her body was “in an advanced state of decomposition,” an incident report obtained by the Gwinnett Daily Post said.

A family member previously reported Man missing on Oct. 8, but she returned home after an investigator was assigned to her case, cops said.

Man ran away again two days later after the case was closed, cops said. A second missing person report wasn’t filed.

However, she went to pick up her last paycheck at the Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody on Nov. 20, police said.

Man’s death remains under investigation, and it hasn’t been ruled a homicide.
