Trump rips 'Sneaky Dianne Feinstein' over dossier testimony

President Trump slammed Sen. Dianne Feinstein for releasing the testimony about the controversial dossier linking him to Russia.

“The fact that Sneaky Dianne Feinstein, who has on numerous occasions stated that collusion between Trump/Russia has not been found, would release testimony in such an underhanded and possibly illegal way, totally without authorization, is a disgrace. Must have tough Primary!” Trump tweeted Wednesday morning.

A day earlier the California Democrat surprised Washington when she released the closed-door testimony of Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, who was peppered by the Senate Judiciary Committee in August over the controversial document.

His company had hired ex-British spy Christopher Steele to compile the dossier while Trump was running for President, tasked with finding any possible leverage Russia may have over Trump.

Feinstein released the testimony Tuesday to “set the record straight,” after her Republican counterparts spent months fighting to keep Simpson’s interview underwraps.

It wasn’t clear what the President meant by suggesting Feinstein released it in a “possibly illegal way.” The testimony wasn’t known to be classified.

Trump, in a recent interview with the New York Times, also claimed Feinstein — along with about every other Democrat — said there was no collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.

Feinstein, in a November interview with CNN, didn’t dismiss the notion of collusion — just that there wasn’t evidence the Trump campaign received dirt on Hillary Clinton.

Trump also lamented that the “single greatest Witch Hunt in American history continues.”

“There was no collusion, everybody including the Dems knows there was no collusion, & yet on and on it goes. Russia & the world is laughing at the stupidity they are witnessing. Republicans should finally take control!” he tweeted.
