A Missouri man reported his own son to police after discovering images of a naked two-year-old girl on his cellphone.

Paul Spensberger reportedly turned his 17-year-old son over to authorities in their hometown of O'Fallon, Missouri, after finding the photos on Dec. 30, FOX2 reported.

According to the local station, Spensberger had initially confiscated his son's phone as a punishment for misbehaving prior to making the disturbing discovery.

The teen reportedly admitted to removing the young girl's diaper and taking inappropriate photos. The girl, who was sleeping on the floor of his bedroom, is allegedly a relative of his girlfriend.

According to court documents obtained by the local station, the teen confessed that he intended to sell the photos for $300 to a classmate he believed to be a pedophile.

The teen is currently facing charges of possession of child pornography and is being held on a $10,000 bond.

His father told the Daily Mail refuses to bail him out because he needs to "learn."

“He feels like s**t. He feels remorse and he is scared, he’s facing time in prison. I could go and get him but he needs to learn,” Spensberger told the outlet.

The teen is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 16.
