As 'Oprah 2020' talk bubbles, longtime partner Stedman Graham says she would 'absolutely do it'
Oprah Winfrey's emotional speech at the Golden Globes on Sunday night has triggered calls for her to run for president come 2020.
As Oprah accepted the Cecil B. DeMille award, social media was exploding with support for a potential Winfrey presidency -- with fans and celebrities alike tweeting their encouragement.
Sarah Silverman even suggested an Oprah-Michelle Obama ticket in the next election.

NBC Entertainment's account even tweeted out a note on the subject, saying, "Nothing but respect for OUR future president."

So, is Oprah going to run for office in 2020? After being asked about her plans backstage, Oprah simply said "I don't. I don't..."
Oprah's longtime partner Stedman Graham gave a more concrete response to the Los Angeles Times, saying she would "absolutely do it."
"It's up to the people," he added.
Brian Stelter of CNN also reported on Monday that two "close friends" of Oprah's are saying she is "actively thinking" about a presidential bid.

Oprah became the first African American woman to receive the Cecil B. DeMille award on Sunday evening, highlighting an illustrious career across the entertainment industry.
