Trump: After ‘fake news,’ now I’ve to ‘put up with a fake book’

President Trump on Sunday continued to slam Michael Wolff’s new book, which raises questions about his fitness for office.

“I’ve had to put up with the Fake News from the first day I announced that I would be running for President,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Now I have to put up with a Fake Book, written by a totally discredited author. Ronald Reagan had the same problem and handled it well. So will I!”

This was one of many tweets Trump has posted about the book.

“Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book,” Trump tweeted on Friday.

The president also addressed the claims in the book during a press conference at Camp David on Saturday.

“I consider it a work of fiction,” Trump told reporters. “The libel laws are very weak in this country. If they were strong, it’d be very helpful. You wouldn’t have things like that happen, where you could say whatever comes to your head.”
