Trump’s physical exam reportedly scheduled for January 12

ABC News reported on Thursday that President Trump is set to undergo a physical exam in the coming weeks, and the results will be made public.

“Pres. Trump’s physical scheduled for Jan. 12 at Walter Reed Medical Center. Dr. Ronny Jackson, who has held role of physician to the president since 2013 under former Pres. Obama, ‘will give a readout of the exam after it’s completed,’ Press Sec. [Sarah Huckabee] Sanders says,” the outlet tweeted.

Trump’s health was questioned by many after he appeared to slur the words at the end of his early December announcement that the U.S. will acknowledge Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

At the December 7 press briefing, Sanders said the inquiries were “frankly, pretty ridiculous…the President’s throat was dry. Nothing more than that.”

The results from the upcoming physical will be the first indication of the true state of the 71-year-old president’s physical well-being.

CNN reports that during the campaign, his doctor did release a statement, but it was rather light on specifics and asserted, “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”
