Jimmy Choo forced to pull 'sexist' ad that shows Cara Delevingne being cat called

A Jimmy Choo ad starring supermodel Cara Delevingne has been yanked from YouTube after it raised many eyebrows.

The ad shows the actress and model strutting her stuff on the streets of what appears to be New York City, wearing Choo shoes and a revealing red dress as guy after guy on the street compliments her fancy footwear.

In the wake of the #MeToo movement, some social media users are calling the ad "regressive."

“Cat calling is not sexy,” one person says, as another chimed in: “Nothing says ‘buy me’ like sexual harassment.”

Others have called the spot “tone deaf.”

Interestingly, the British model was one of the first to call out disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein, claiming he tried to “get her to kiss another woman in his hotel suite.”

Jimmy Choo shoes and Delevingne have not yet commented on the matter.
