Tristan Thompson shares message to Khloe after pregnancy reveal

Tristan Thompson is anything but cavalier about his impending fatherhood.

The Cleveland forward praised his pregnant girlfriend Khloe Kardashian and shared his exuberance about getting to experience parenthood with her after the reality star confirmed the widespread rumors she's expecting their first child together.

"My love, thank you for (allowing) me to be apart (sic) of your journey in life and allowing to share this moment with you this is something (I'll) always cherish," he wrote in a comment below the Instagram photo she posted of her burgeoning baby bump.

"I'm soo happy to be on this journey together with you and creating this angel from the man above," Thompson wrote. "Everyday (sic) I give thanks to him for bringing us together."

Thompson, 26, and Kardashian, 33, have been rumored to be expecting a kid since September, but waited until Wednesday evening to officially confirm it with Kardashian's Instagram post.

Thompson — who has spent his entire seven-year NBA career with the Cavaliers — and the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star have been together since September 2016.

The duo did not reveal the baby's gender, though Us Weekly reported in September that they're expecting a boy.

News of Kardashian's pregnancy initially surfaced mere days after reports emerged that her half-sister, Kylie Jenner, is expecting a baby with her rapper boyfriend Travis Scott.

Neither Jenner nor the "Wonderful" rapper has commented on those rumors. Jenner — a notorious socialite — has rarely been seen publicly amid the speculation, and she's toned down her typically frequent posts to social media as well.

Kim Kardashian, meanwhile, has confirmed she and husband Kanye West are expecting their third child together via surrogate.
