Former staffers say Trent Franks asked them to be surrogate mothers for his child

Just a day after Arizona Rep. Trent Franks announced his resignation, Politico is reporting that two female staffers said Franks asked them to be surrogate mothers for his child.

The report also says that the former aides were concerned that Franks was asking to have sexual relations with them.

One report even said that Franks offered a staffer $5 million to be a surrogate mother.

According to the Associated Press, the former staffer says that Franks made her the offer four times.

A staffer claims that after denying his request, she was denied access to the congressman.

Another former staffer also made the claim that the Republican Congressman attempted to persuade a female aide that they were in love.

Franks originally was set to resign at the end of January, but resigned on Friday instead.

When asked by Politico, Frank’s spokesperson denied the allegations.
