Christmas tree shoppers find kidnapping victim partially clothed in tree

A partially clothed kidnapping victim was found taking shelter in a dead tree.

A group of people in Redding California found the woman when they were searching for a Christmas tree.

Police say the victim claims she was kidnapped by acquaintances of hers most likely because they believe she stole drugs from them.

Johanna Knighten was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping while the other suspect, Fred Sanderson, is still at large.

The victim claims Knighten and Sanderson drove six miles from the highway, assaulted her, stripped her down to her shorts, and left her in the woods.
