Trump slams Warren again with 'Pocahontas' nickname
President Trump took a jab at Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Monday, again resurfacing his "Pocahontas" nickname for her during an event celebrating Native American veterans.
"You were here long before any of us were here," Trump said to the honorees during the event honoring code talkers. "Although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her Pocahontas."

Trump has repeatedly used the nickname to speak poorly of the Democratic senator from Massachusetts, referring to the 2012 controversy surrounding reports that she once listed herself as a minority in a directory of law professors.
“This was supposed to be an event to honor heroes -- people who put it all on the line for our country," Warren said in response. "It is deeply unfortunate that the resident of the United States cannot even make it through a ceremony honoring these heroes without having to throw out a racial slur."

"Donald Trump does this over and over thinking somehow he’s going to shut me up with it," Warren continued. "It hadn’t worked in the past and it is not going to work in the future."
