Australian diplomat falls to his death after playing 'trust game' in NYC
A diplomat from Australia fell to his death from a seventh-floor terrace in New York City after playing a game of 'trust' with a woman’s husband.
Police say 30-year-old Julian Simpson went to an apartment building Wednesday night to look at the lights on the Empire State Building.
CBS New York reports that Simpson was out with a group of people who had been drinking.
The building was lit in rainbow colors in recognition of a survey that found most Australians support marriage equality.
Simpson apparently swung a woman around and her husband became angry.

The two men then went to the seventh-floor apartment terrace and Simpson tried to prove he was trustworthy, going to a ledge and leaning back.
Officials say Simpson grabbed the man’s hand but slipped and fell to a second-floor landing.
