Trump’s granddaughter Arabella Kushner shows off Mandarin skills for Chinese president

President Trump’s granddaughter Arabella Kushner is the talk of China, thanks to her Mandarin-speaking skills.

During his visit to China, President Trump showed Chinese President Xi Jinping a video of Arabella, the six-year-old daughter of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, performing in Mandarin.

The President reportedly showed off the video of his granddaughter singing in Mandarin and reciting Chinese poetry from the ancient verses of Confucius, during a dinner with Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan on Wednesday.

Arabella wears a traditional silk embroidered Chinese dress and addresses the president and first lady of china as “Grandpa Xi” and “Grandma Peng.”

“Hello, everyone. Let me sing a song,” the six-year-old says in Mandarin, before singing about “sweeping rice fields” and other natural sites.

After the folk song, she recites a series of Chinese poems.

Arabella had already performed in Mandarin for the Chinese president.

In April 2017, she sang in front of Xi Jinping and his wife at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.
