Scientists believe they have discovered new super-fuel to enhance human performance

Scientists at the University of Oxford believe they have found the fourth type of fuel for humans.

Ketones are believed to be a macronutrient just like fat, protein, and carbohydrates.

A ketogenic diet, or a high-fat low-carb diet, tricks the body into thinking it’s starving, which allows your body to burn fat while churning out ketones for energy.

Now, a company has created a product that is made of pure ketone ester, contains 120 calories, and has no fat, protein, or carbs.

Startup company HVMN has partnered with Oxford University to create a ketone product that supposedly supercharges the body.

Oxford Professor Kieran Clarke says the performance boost from Ketones is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.

According to Business Insider, after ingesting Ketones, it gives you the ability to perform better but doesn’t give you the same rush a stimulant such as caffeine would.

Clarke says Ketone sort of makes life easy and gives you energy that you wouldn’t normally have.
