SEE IT: Teacher placed on leave after he threatens to 'put a bullet' in student's head

A Georgia teacher is on administrative leave after a video surfaced of him threatening to put a bullet in a student's head.

The video was filmed by another student at Rockdale Career Academy in Conyers.

The student's mother, April Carr, told WSB-TV that she posted the footage on her Facebook page earlier this week after the school told her that someone had cursed at her son in his physics class.

When she talked to the 11th grader about what happened, he told her that his teacher Paul Hagan got angry because a group of students kept laughing in class. Carr admits her son should have been paying attention, but thinks the teacher could have handled the situation better.

"I'm serious, dude. If you screw with me, you're going to get in big a-trouble," Hagan is seen telling the student. "Don't smile at me, man. That's how people like you get shot. I got a bet by the time you're 21 somebody's gonna put a bullet right through your head. Okay? And it might be me the one who does it."

Carr told WSB that she was "outraged" by what the teacher said and wants Hagan fired.

"I think it's a terroristic threat on my son's life that I definitely don't take lightly," she said. "I want him fired. ... And I want charges pressed against him."

According to Fox 5, Hagan apologized to the teen. The school said the teacher is on leave and the incident was under investigation.
