Report: Omarosa Manigault held a bridal photo shoot at the White House

Trump administration official Omarosa Manigault is said to have held a bridal photo shoot at the White House in April.

Politico is reporting that the former ‘Apprentice’ contestant showed up in wedding attire along with members of her bridal party one Saturday afternoon.

“The visitors loudly wandered around, looking to snap photos in the Rose Garden and throughout the West Wing, according to four current and former White House officials,” according to the piece.

While it is unknown if she had followed protocols in advance of the visit, some staffers were said to have been taken aback by the group, and she was ultimately prevented from releasing the photos publicly due, in part, to potential security issues.

Manigault, who married pastor John Allen Newman in April, secured a White House job as an assistant to President Trump and director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison during the transition period in early January.

She has since been criticized, particularly by some African-American observers, for being ineffective in her role despite the fact that she once compared herself to former President Obama’s key adviser Valerie Jarrett.

According to a Washington Post report from March, President Trump has continued to keep Manigault in his circle because of her steadfast loyalty to him.

In fact, Republican insider Armstrong Williams told the publication about her relationship with the president, “It’s just amazing to watch. Not only does he trust her, he’s comfortable with her. It’s almost as if she’s like a daughter to him.”
