Carlos Correa proposed to his girlfriend during a live TV interview after the Astros won the World Series

The Houston Astros are World Series champions, beating the Los Angeles Dodgers in seven games to take home their first title in franchise history.

While there were many exciting moments on the field, for Astros shortstop Carlos Correa, the most nerve-racking moment of the night didn't come until after the game concluded. As Correa was being interviewed by Ken Rosenthal of Fox, he was asked what it felt like to get the win.

See photos from after the game:

"It's one of the biggest accomplishments in my life," Correa said. "And right now I'm about to take another big step in my life."

He got down on one knee, and popped the question to his girlfriend, Daniella Rodriguez, who was standing nearby with a crowd of spectators.

She happily said yes.

It looks like Correa will be getting not one, but two rings next year.
