Jadeveon Clowney dressed up as an inmate for Halloween after owner's controversial comments

Houston Texans owner Bob McNair received some harsh criticism after saying "We can't have the inmates running the prison." The comments came during an NFL meeting to discuss the protests during the national anthem.

After tensions rose at practice during the week, Texans players responded on Sunday with the majority of the team kneeling for the anthem on Sunday.

On Monday night, Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney appeared to take another shot at the owner, dressing up as an inmate in an orange jumpsuit for the team's Halloween party. In a video obtained by TMZSports, Clowney can be seen wearing his jumpsuit and enjoying the party with teammates.

McNair apologized for his comments, but it appears that some players are not letting the turn of phrase go so easily.

Adding to the controversy, on Monday, the Texans traded Pro Bowl left tackle Duane Brown to the Seahawks after his harsh criticism of McNair's comments.

"I think it was ignorant," Brown said on Friday. "I think it was embarrassing. I think it angered a lot of players, including myself. We put our bodies and minds on the line every time we step on that field, and to use an analogy of inmates in prison, that's disrespectful. That's how I feel about it."
