Man steals World Series HR ball from fellow fan, throws it back

Talk about a jerk move.

An Astros fan stole a home run ball from a fellow fan while she was celebrating the catch and then inexplicably threw it back onto the field during the 9th inning of Game 5 of the World Series Sunday night.

The rude play came shortly after Yasiel Puig hit a two-run blast to center field to bring the Dodgers to within 12-11 in the top of the 9th inning.

The female fan who caught the ball was celebrating with a male companion only to have another fan snatch the ball out of her hands and toss it onto the field, leaving the celebrating couple in a state of apparent anger and shock.

It is not clear if the woman who caught the ball and her male companion knew the fan who snatched the ball and attended the game with him or if he was just a random fan who decided to ruin a stranger’s day.
