NFL Super Bowl odds: Green Bay Packers fall, New England Patriots hold steady

Updated

And we're on to Week 7.

This week's games kick off on Thursday night when the Chiefs and Raiders face off -- giving Kansas City a chance to potentially boost their Super Bowl odds beyond where they already stand.

For the seventh week in a row, the New England Patriots have remained Bovada's Super Bowl favorite, and they are currently positioned with a 4/1 chance of winning this season's big game. The Pittsburgh Steelers and other dominant league teams, though, just might give them a run for their money.

The Steelers and Chiefs are just behind the Patriots with respective 7/1 and 15/2 odds.

The Green Bay Packers saw a significant dip in their odds of a successful season when QB Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone last week. The team currently has a 20/1 shot at the Super Bowl, according to oddsmakers.

Other teams who continue to post promising odds projections are the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks, but the San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns remain the worst-ranked teams in terms of their Super Bowl chances -- both with 5000/1 odds of winning the championship game.

NFL fans are due for a Super Bowl 51 matchup between New England and Atlanta this weekend, but will the Falcons be able to boost their Lombardi odds? Fans will have to tune in on Sunday night to find out.
