Barron Trump makes first public outing in two months, grabs dinner with President Trump and Melania Trump

Over the weekend, President Trump enjoyed a night out with the first lady and his youngest son, Barron Trump, for dinner at his hotel property in DC on Saturday.

The president was photographed arriving at the Trump International Hotel around 8 p.m. where he met up with his wife and son, who were already seated inside.

It was the first time all three had been seen together publicly since Barron Trump returned with his parents from an overnight trip to Camp David earlier in August.

The venue came as no surprise, as Trump has mainly been pictured dining out at establishments that bear his name since taking office.

Barron Trump's appearance, however, was unexpected, with his parents making a point of shielding the 11-year-old from any unnecessary attention after he faced criticism earlier this year for his choices of clothing in addition to being called the "country's first homeschool shooter" in a now-deleted tweet by a "Saturday Night Live" writer who has since been suspended.

The family was pictured leaving the hotel shortly after 10 p.m. after dining together for roughly two hours. The three arrived home at the White House just minutes later.

The president's dinner date with the first family marked his second time visiting a Trump property on Saturday after playing golf with Sen. Lindsey Graham at the Trump Nation Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia earlier in the afternoon.
