Chief of staff John Kelly's personal phone may have been compromised

Some of the White House’s information may have been compromised, according to US government officials.

Politico reports, they believe chief of staff John Kelley’s personal phone has been breached.

White House tech staff realized the issue when Kelly turned in his phone. He complained it wasn’t working properly for months.

According to Politico, staffers are currently trying to determine when the breach took place, and what kind of information may have been accessed.

A White House official said on behalf of the administration, Kelly didn’t use his personal phone much.

He also reportedly is no longer in possession of the phone, and has begun using a new one.
