Yankees pitcher David Robertson had a priceless reaction to his catcher being hit in the groin

The American League Wild Card game came to a painful pause in the sixth inning when a pitch was deflected and hit New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez directly in the groin.

While we should all empathize with Sanchez — he was momentarily stunned, but did stay in the game — this particular injury is going to be best remembered for the reaction by pitcher David Robertson.

Robertson immediately recoiled in his own pain after he saw what had happened.

If that was priceless, the photos from Getty photographer Elsa are even better.
