President Donald Trump took a shot at ESPN on Twitter days after an anchor called him a white supremacist.
"ESPN is paying a really big price for its politics (and bad programming). People are dumping it in RECORD numbers. Apologize for untruth!" Trump tweeted.
Jemele Hill, cohost of the hour-long program "SC6," tweeted on Monday night that "Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists." Hill also wrote that Trump's election has further empowered white supremacists.
When asked about the comments during Wednesday's press briefing, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called the comments "outrageous" and said that she believed them to be a "fireable offense."
