Cole Beasley converts on third down with ridiculous one-handed, behind-the-back catch

Week 1 of the NFL season got off to a quick start.

Football fans were treated to an attempted onside kick to start a game, a controversial ending in a division rivalry, and an emotional return to the field for J.J. Watt and the Houston Texans.

One thing the first Sunday of the season lacked in the early games was a truly remarkable catch. In the fourth quarter of the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Cowboys and Giants, Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley stepped up to provide such a highlight.

Facing third-and-six, quarterback Dak Prescott dropped back and threw to Beasley as he ran toward the sideline. Beasley bobbled the ball, but was able to come down with it after pinning it with one hand to the name on the back of his jersey.

Commentators Cris Collinsworth and Al Michaels were left in a brief moment of disbelief. "Oh my God!" Collinsworth said through a bit of laughter. "I've never seen that!"

While it might not have been as impressive as Odell Beckham Jr.'s three-fingered catch from the same Sunday Night Football matchup in 2014, with Beckham out with an injury, Beasley's highlight stole the show.
