Welcome to September, sports fans. Football is starting, the World Series is near and the U.S. Open is taking New York by storm.

This week, we watched our final group of preseason NFL games before the regular season begins this upcoming Thursday. We also saw division races continue to heat up in the MLB as teams battle for their spots in the playoffs.

Possibly the biggest event of the past seven days, however, was the highly anticipated Mayweather-McGregor fight, which ended as many thought it would -- with Mayweather still on top and undefeated.
