Missouri state representative says the person who vandalized a Confederate monument should be hung
A Missouri state representative says he hopes the person who vandalized a Confederate statue would be hung from a tall tree.
Republican Warren Love shared an article to his Facebook page titled “Vandal throws paint on Confederate statue” that talked about the vandalism of the Confederate monument at a cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
Love wrote, “This is totally against the law. I hope they are found and hung from a tall tree with a long rope.”
The chairman of the Missouri Democratic Party is calling on Love to resign, saying the post is a call for lynching.
