Malia Obama harassed by photo-seeking grandmother at Harvard University

It looks like Malia Obama is having some trouble blending in at Harvard University.

The former first daughter has been spotted all over campus since moving into her dorm early last week, and she's attracted attention everywhere she's gone.

On Saturday, the freshman made headlines after she snapped at a woman who was determined to get a photo of her outside a Harvard Square eatery in Cambridge, Mass., TMZ reported.

According to sources, the former first daughter was approached by an eager woman asking for a photograph for her granddaughter. After Obama politely declined, the persistent grandmother stood outside the restaurant waiting for the 19-year-old to leave.

When Obama finally came out of the salad joint, she had a few words for the snap-happy woman: "Are you gonna take it in my face like an animal in a cage?"

The whole incident was caught on video, which you can watch above.

Obama is set to begin her first year at Harvard after taking a gap year. During the year after she graduated high school, she interned for world-famous producer Harvey Weinstein in New York City.

This isn't the first time in recent weeks that the former first daughter has made headlines. Obama attended Chicago's Lollapalooza music festival in early August, and footage of her dancing sent the internet into a tizzy.
