Two friends say they were on the trail Monday morning when they were surprised by a stranger.

“He just appeared out of the bushes and really made a big deal -- he kept whistling, trying to get our attention," said Lisa Lucatuorto, a Santee resident.

The women say they turned around and the man exposed himself.

“He was inappropriately touching himself and thought it was funny," said Lucatuorto.

Several women told authorities they experienced the same issue -- seeing a man expose himself while they walked passed.

Investigators hadn't found the man as of Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect is described as white, around 5-feet  11-inches tall, 190 to 210 pounds with black, wavy hair.

Any victims or anyone who sees any suspicious behavior should contact the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

“If someone sees him doing this and they catch him in the act -- call 911. Everybody’s got a cell phone on them -- pictures would be good to help us identify who this guy is," said Sgt. Will Amavisca.
