Trump goes after Graham, Flake in morning Twitter rant
President Trump criticized Republican senators on Thursday morning, highlighting the current divide between the Oval Office and some GOP lawmakers.
Trump first fired back at Sen. Lindsey Graham -- a critic in his own party -- who denounced Trump's response to the Charlottesville attack, saying he had not drawn a "moral equivalency" between white hate groups and counter-protesters.
Trump took to Twitter to call Graham's statement a "disgusting lie."
"Publicity seeking Lindsey Graham falsely stated that I said there is moral equivalency between the KKK, neo-Nazis & white supremacists and people like Ms. Heyer," Trump tweeted. "Such a disgusting lie. He just can't forget his election trouncing. The people of South Carolina will remember!"

Trump also went after GOP Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona, describing him as "weak" and "toxic."
The public is learning (even more so) how dishonest the Fake News is. They totally misrepresent what I say about hate, bigotry etc. Shame!

Great to see that Dr. Kelli Ward is running against Flake Jeff Flake, who is WEAK on borders, crime and a non-factor in Senate. He's toxic!

Trump is set to hold a rally in Phoenix next Tuesday, and the commander in chief is likely to endorse a primary challenger to Flake, Kelli Ward, during that Arizona appearance.
