Summer is winding down which, ironically, means baseball is heating up.

The race for the American League East was hot this week as the Boston Red Sox faced the New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays headed up to Toronto. Out west, the Los Angeles Dodgers continued their incredible winning trend.

The IAAF World Athletics Championships continued and featured a spill from Usain Bolt, who still managed to look as cool as ever.

New Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler, however, did not -- but we hope he cheers up soon.
