President Trump lauds Kim Jong Un's 'wise decision' to step back from Guam missile launch

President Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to laud North Korean leader Kim Jong Un for his holding back from launching a missile strike near Guam.

"Kim Jong Un of North Korea made a very wise and well reasoned decision," Trump wrote via tweet. "The alternative would have been both catastrophic and unacceptable!"

The Trump tweet comes after North Korean state media made public on Tuesday morning images of the hermit regime's chief receiving a briefing on plans for a Guam missile launch.

Kim Jong Un then put the ball in the U.S. commander in chief's court, though, saying he was going to hold off from firing any missiles so he can watch more of the "foolish and stupid conduct of the Yankees."
