Aliens could conquer Earth by following 'dangerous' maps sent into space by NASA

In the 1970's, NASA sent out four golden plates with the location of Earth and other information about our planet aboard four spacecrafts.

Now, one of the scientists who helped design those maps is saying their decision to do so could later prove disastrous for humankind.

Dr. Frank Drake, an American astronomer and renowned alien hunter, told National Geographic: 'In those days, all the people I dealt with were optimists, and they thought the ETs would be friendly. Nobody thought, even for a few seconds, about whether this might be a dangerous thing to do.'

The maps -- which were each placed inside Pioneer 10 and 11 as well as Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 probes -- showed the Earth's location based on distant pulsar stars, which according to NASA are "rotating neutron star that generates regular pulses of radiation at its spin rate."

Those spacecrafts have all left the solar system and are making their into deep outer space.

Even Stephen Hawking believes that if aliens were to find Earth they would want to conquer and colonize it, similar to what he says happened with Native Americans when the Europeans arrived.
