Football is back.

We repeat: FOOTBALL. IS. BACK.

If the week's gridiron action wasn't enough for you, it was also a busy week in baseball, with even one tiny kitten getting in on the action in St. Louis.

Track and field fanatics focused their gaze on the IAAF World Athletics Championships in London, where American Justin Gatlin defeated Usain Bolt in the 100m race.

Golf's PGA Championship also kicked off and is continuing into the weekend.
