Anthony Scaramucci compares himself to Monica Lewinsky

Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci is pointing fingers at the reporter who may have cost him his job.

In a series of tweets on Wednesday, the "Mooch" blasted Ryan Lizza, the reporter who recorded an expletive-filled conversation with Scaramucci, he claims without his permission.

Scaramucci tweeted: "Yes. He absolutely taped the call without my permission. #lowlife"

Lizza claims Scaramucci never asked to be off the record.

Scaramucci then took his accusation a step further saying: "@RyanLizza is the Linda Tripp of 2017. People know. And he is up at night not being able to live with himself."

Tripp is infamously known as the woman who secretly recorded Monica Lewinsky's conversations where she revealed details of her relationship with former President Bill Clinton.

After lasting less than two weeks in the White House, Scaramucci will sit down live for his first interview since being fired on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" and then on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday.

Colbert tweeted about his upcoming guest, offering a "heads up" for the show's censors.
