Woman tries to smuggle cocaine into Australia in her high heels

An American woman thought she could pull a fast one on Australian Federal Police.

The 49-year-old is accused of stuffing cocaine into high heels.

But, Australian officials blew her plan.

They stopped her when she tried to make her way into the country after departing from Los Angeles with the drug filled footwear.

Investigators in Australia showed these photos of what they say is 2kg of cocaine.

They kept a sense of humor about the bust with the caption,"Besides the obvious crimes against fashion she was also charged with importing a commercial quantity of a border controlled drug."

She was arrested Friday and faces hefty fines and prison time.
