Report: Anthony Scaramucci says he's not going anywhere

Anthony Scaramucci may have had the shortest run ever as White House Communications Director, but he's not prepared to give up his White House badge just yet.

That's according to the Daily Mail, which claims two of his friends say he's planning on convincing the president to assign him a different role.

According to them, if he has it his way, he'll go back to working for the Export-Import Bank where, back in June, he served as senior vice president and chief strategy officer.

The night of his firing Scaramucci was spotted at the DC Trump International Hotel dining with current and former Trump officials. He was also reportedly spotted there again the next day.

Speaking to Fox and Friends, former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said he expects Trump to find a place for Scaramucci within his administration.

Scaramucci was fired after unleashing to the New Yorker an expletive-laden tirade against the now replaced chief of staff Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon.
