New White House Chief Of Staff John Kelly has backing of Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump

To be in President Trump's good graces, it seems you have to earn the support from two of his closest aides -- Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.

Former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus reportedly didn't have such approval toward the end of his White House tenure, but his replacement John Kelly apparently does.

Bloomberg spoke to an administration official who said Ivanka Trump and Kushner supported the decision to tap Kelly as the Chief of Staff after losing confidence in Priebus.

Priebus was forced out of his West Wing office Friday after the Republican-led Senate's failure to repeal Obamacare again.

He was replaced by Kelly, the now former Homeland Security Secretary.

Two senior White House officials told Bloomberg that Kelly will have full authority over the president's staff.

One official said the first daughter and her husband will work with Kelly to create "more order around the President."
