Lewandowski says President Trump should fire another top staffer

With former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus gone, President Trump could be looking to make even more changes at the top.

And now his former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is suggesting another staffer should hear those famous two words: You're fired.

Richard Cordray, Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Lewandowski said on Meet the Press Sunday, "It's my recommendation of the President of the United States to fire Richard Cordray. If he wants to go run for governor of Ohio ... go do it."

Cordray is reportedly planning to run for governor, but he has not made an official announcement.

NBC's Chuck Todd also asked Lewandowski if he had "any business interests here."

His response was, "no clients whatsoever."

President Trump revealed on Friday that he was bringing on John Kelly to replace Reince Priebus as chief of staff, a move that came days after Sean Spicer resigned as White House press secretary after Anthony Scaramucci was named the new White House communications director.
