Shocking video shows former NFL player running through glass door

Police in Michigan released a shocking video of former UCLA standout and NFL player Brian Price running into a glass door at an auto parts store.

Price played three seasons in the NFL before injuries cut his playing career short, and according to his wife, lasting impacts from the sport has led her to believe he suffers from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE.

The video shows Price lying down on the ground and as officers approached him he charged for the door running right through it.

The incident happened back in April and according to his wife, track star Candice Price, people who ran into him that day thought he was on drugs.

It turns out he was not and the incident is thought to be a side effect of CTE.

The former NFL star told Local 4 News that he doesn't remember the incident, he only remembers waking up with blood in his mouth.

CTE is extremely common among NFL athletes. It's caused by repeated blows to the head. It can cause aggression, depression, suicidal thoughts and dementia.

A recent report from the New York Times revealed that a study of 111 brains of former NFL players showed 110 of them had the disease.
