Trump on Russia-related hearings: 'Next up' is 11-year-old Barron Trump

President Trump continues to dismiss investigations on Russia's meddling in the 2016 U.S election. A day after his son-in-law Jared Kushner answered questions from Senate investigators about his meetings with Russians, Trump called the investigation a "witch hunt."

Trump tweeted Tuesday morning, "Jared Kushner did very well yesterday in proving he did not collude with the Russians. Witch Hunt. Next up, 11 year old Barron Trump!"

This is not the first time, the president has referred to the Russia probe as a "witch hunt."

He tweeted Sunday, "As the phony Russian Witch Hunt continues, two groups are laughing at this excuse for a lost election taking hold, Democrats and Russians! "

Meanwhile, Kushner released his own statement following his meeting with Senate investigators on Monday.

"I did not collude with Russia, nor do I know of anyone else in the campaign who did so," Kushner said. "I had no improper contacts. I have not relied on Russian funds for my businesses. And I have been fully transparent in providing all requested information."
