When Jessie Char saw that she had a whole row to herself on her JetBlue flight from Long Beach, Calif., to San Francisco, she was ecstatic.
"I left all the arm rests up," Char told Inside Edition.
The 30-year-old passenger even snapped a photo of the empty row she now considered her bench.
But as Char started to get cozy, she witnessed a sight that she could not believe.
"One of the arm rests just kind of came crashing down," she said.
What followed was a foot that reached from behind to peek through the seats and another that landed on the armrest.
"Toes were wiggling; it was just like they were seeing the light of day for the very first time," she said.
At one point, the fellow flier got so comfortable, they used their toes to open the shade on a window in her own row, she said.
Char was able to catch the eye of a flight attendant who then asked the person to take their feet down.
"I don't think there is any experience that can top this one," she said.
She shared the image on social media, where it quickly went viral.
