Trump says he would invite Putin to the White House, but not now

It may not be long before we see Russian President Vladimir Putin at the White House.

During a flight to Paris, President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he would invite him... but stopped short of saying when that would actually happen.

"It's not the right time , but the answer is yes, I would," Trump said adding, "If you don't have dialogue, you have to be fools."

Putin and Trump meet for the first time:

Trump and Putin met for the first time last week at the G20 summit. Their talk was only suppose to last only 30 minutes, but went on for over two hours.

The world leaders reportedly spoke about the claim that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election—which Putin has denied.

During the campaign and now into his administration, the President has said that he wanted the United States to have a better relationship with Russia and Vladimir Putin.
