They drove three miles down the road before pulling into a car wash at Watkins and Corning where she made a daring escape.
She ran home to her mother and called 911.
Both ladies didn't want to talk on camera but said the victim was pistol-whipped during the encounter.
Several mothers, WREG spoke to said this is a wake-up call.
"I used to let my daughter walk home from school with friends, but even being with friends it's really scary," one mother said. "I will not be letting her do that anymore."
Yolana Dawkins, a mother of two, said she hates to hear this happened in her community.
"We need to go back to what used work back in the day ... like I say, a village raise a child. So it's gonna need more than one person to help each other out and watch out for the kids and stuff like that," she said. "Even if I was sitting outside I probably would've stepped out and say, 'Aye whatchu doing?' It just really takes that."
