Watch: Julian Edelman roasted Peyton Manning while accepting an ESPY

The joke of the ESPYs might not have come from the host.

The New England Patriots won Team of the Year at the ESPYs for their remarkable comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl.

A group of Patriots players accepted the award on stage, including wide receiver Julian Edelman. Edelman took the mic and didn't waste time taking a shot at host Peyton Manning.

"Never thought I'd say this, but Peyton Manning is kinda killing it," Edelman said. "We are indoors though."

The comment was a reference to Peyton's penchant for struggling in cold and inclement weather in the playoffs. Here's the full clip.

For what it's worth, the Patriots were 0-2 against Peyton in AFC Championship games since Edelman joined the team in 2009.

He got a good jab in tonight, but we have to say Peyton owns the last laugh.
