Trump to military personnel: 'I will always have your back'

U.S. President Donald Trump hosts military families for a picnic at the White House on Independence Day, July 4th.

Trump spoke to the crowd on the South Lawn, beside First Lady Melania as Vice President Mike Pence and his family looked on.

"I pledge my unwavering support for you, for your families and your missions. I will always have your back," Trump said, addressing the men and women serving in the U.S. military.

Trump added, "I want to just tell you that our country is doing really, really well. No matter where you look."
