Summer sports were heating up around the globe this week.

Stateside, Major League Baseball is still front-and-center as the season inches closer to its halfway point. The College World Series also finished up this week as the Florida Gators topped the LSU Tigers to take the crown.

Track and field events were held in France as part of the European Athletics Team Championships, while swimmers in Indiana took part in the Phillips 66 National Championships & World Championship Trials.
