Social media erupts over President Trump's wrist watch

Plenty of things about President Donald Trump have caught the eyes of onlookers, but recent photos of him golfing have had social media aroar.

Some Twitter users this week have noticed the president may wear his watch tighter than others.

According to TheWrap, It all started with comedian Joe Mande's initial tweet that drew attention to Trump's tight watch band.

Mande shared a collage of photo's with the caption, "very few things gross me out as much as donald trump's watch band."

Others responded agreeing with the comment. Comedian Jim Tews went as far as to call the watch a 'fat bit.'

When Twitter users accused Mande of fat shaming DonaldTrumpp, he responded with a tweet that reads, "To all the f***ing morons claiming I'm 'fat shaming' Donald Trump: He's fat, And I'm watch-shaming him."

The viral event has even spurred a new account -- @TrumpsWatchBand.

The account hasn't gained much traction just yet.
