President Trump's latest tweets have given rise to a new theory about surveillance in the Oval Office.
On Twitter Thursday, Trump wrote, "With all of the recently reported electronic surveillance, intercepts, unmasking and illegal leaking of information, I have no idea... whether there are 'tapes' or recordings of my conversations with James Comey, but I did not make, and do not have, any such recordings."
While the tweets clear away the suspicion that Trump personally had tapes of his conversations with Comey, they have sparked a new theory about surveillance.

In response, The Daily Beast reports one senior administration official sent a text, writing, "fml," an acronym for "f*** my life."
Trump's tweets came out right before Sarah Huckabee Sanders press briefing where she was then asked about intelligence agencies spying on the president.
She said that the purpose of Trump's tweets was to "raise the question of doubt in general" about Comey's testimony.
